Legend of the Year
So.Co’s inaugural awards, held on Monday 27th March in London, introduced the category of ‘Legend of the Year Award’.
The judging panel selected Dave Hogan for this prestigious honour, which recognises an incredible 43-year ongoing legacy as one of the music industry’s most distinguished and cherished photographers. For more details about this award and a short video of his award-winning work, click below
David Hogan says: “It is such a huge honour to be the first recipient of the So.co Legend award and to be recognised by my fellow peers. I’ve been doing this job since 1980, and every day I am still so proud and grateful to have the opportunity to photograph the brightest and boldest names in music and entertainment.”
Mick Jagger comments: “Dave Hogan has been shooting the Stones Live on tour for more than three decades. From our unforgettable gig in Cuba, headlining Glastonbury in 2013, to most recently at our London Hyde Park shows, his images have captured these incredible moments we have shared with our fans. I’d like to congratulate him on winning this award.”
